The Purpose of Nehemiah Ministries

Nehemiah was confronted with the broken down state of Jerusalem. The condition of the city challenged him into a practical response, smitten with sorrow and compassion he interceded for God to open the way for him to go to Jerusalem and continue the work of Ezra and restore the burned down gates and broken walls and foundations to secure a safe city for the remnant that were left of the captivity.

Much the same way Nehemiah Ministries has taken up the challenge to repair the broken down walls and foundations of the Church for a testimony of faith to stand in the end time.

The present state of the Church of Jesus Christ is in need of being surrounded by walls and gates, built upon the solid and sound foundation of Jesus Christ, (1 Cor 3:11). Walls which must be able to withstand the onslaught of the forces of the enemies determined to eradicate its testimony.

In the book of Nehemiah we gain the required insight to position ourselves to undertake and finish such a task. In order to fulfill this calling Nehemiah Ministries is well aware of, and equipped to meet the needs of the believers through many years of ministry to the Body of Christ.

Broken down walls indicate that there is a need for spiritual discernment, in order to be safely protected against all kinds of deceptive and unscriptural attacks of unbelief.

With the help of Christians workers, equipped and united by the fires of adversity, standing in faith and integrity, the Lord will be able to bring about an anointed spiritual authority to stop the influences of secularization, from within and from without, against the Church of Jesus Christ.
